หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Effect of Hydropriming and Redrying on the Germination of Triploid Watermelon Seeds) ผู้เขียน:Rukui Huang, นางสุเทวี ศุขปราการ, รองศาสตราจารย์, ดร.ธรรมศักดิ์ ทองเกตุ, รองศาสตราจารย์, นางสุนันทา จันทกูล, ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractTwo triploid watermelon cultivars ‘Gold Prince’ and ‘Guangxi 5’ were subjected to hydropriming by soaking in deionized water for 2 hrs with aeration following 24 and 48 hrs incubated at saturated relative humidity. Hydropriming had a promotive effect on germination performance in both cultivars but the overall seed germination percentages did not increase in ‘Gold Prince’. Furthermore, hydrated seeds were redried under different conditions to low down the seed moisture content to 6-7 % and the two cultivars responded differently. The highest germination percentages and lowest mean germination time were obtained from medium drying (40%RH, 20?C) for ‘Gold Prince’ and quick drying (20%RH, 20?C) for ‘Guangxi 5’. |
หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : A Comparison of Electric Field Treatments to Hydropriming on Cucumber Seed Germination Enhancement) ผู้เขียน:Rukui Huang, นางสุเทวี ศุขปราการ, รองศาสตราจารย์, ดร.ลพ ภวภูตานนท์, ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์, นางสุนันทา จันทกูล, ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์, นายชัยวัฒน์ ชัยกุล, รองศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThree cucumber seed lots: ‘Bingo I’, ‘Bingo II’ and ‘HB128’ were subjected to hydropriming and electric field treatments. The optimum conditions of these two treatments were seed lot dependent. Seed germination and the membrane permeability (electrical conductivity of seed leachates) were tested after the treatments. Hydropriming increased the germination speed of all three seed lots, as well as the germination percentage of ‘HB128’. Electric field treatment enhanced the germination percentage in both ‘Bingo II’ (the low germination seed lot) and ‘HB128’, but had no effect on ‘Bingo I’ (the high germination seed lot). The electrical conductivity of ‘Bingo I’ and ‘Bingo II’ was significantly reduced by both hydropriming and electric field treatments. However, a slight increase in the electrical conductivity of ‘HB128’ was also observed. |
หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Changes in Antioxidant Enzyme Activity, Lipid Peroxidation and Seedling Growth of Cucumber Seed Induced by Hydropriming and Electric Field Treatments) ผู้เขียน:Rukui Huang, นางสุเทวี ศุขปราการ, รองศาสตราจารย์, ดร.ลพ ภวภูตานนท์, ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์, นางสุนันทา จันทกูล, ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์, นายชัยวัฒน์ ชัยกุล, รองศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractTwo cucumber seed lots ‘Bingo I’ (high germination) and ‘Bingo II’ (low germination) were subjected to hydropriming and electric field treatments. Hydropriming, which was conducted by incubating seeds (moisture content adjusted to 25-30%) for 3 days under 25?C and saturated humidity, accelerated the speed of germination in both seed lots, also increased the germination percentage of ‘Bingo II’. Electric field treatment, which was carried out by exposing ‘Bingo I’ for 3 min to 5 kV/cm electric field, or exposing ‘Bingo II’ for 5 min to 3 kV/cm electric field, enhanced the germination percentage in ‘Bingo II’, but had no effect on ‘Bingo I’. Hydropriming accelerated seedling growth in ‘Bingo I’; electric field treatment, however, did not improve the seedling growth. Furthermore, the activities of superoxide dismuts, catalase and ascorbate peroxidase were increased remarkably in association with the reduction of malondialdehyde accumulation in these two seed lots after the two treatments. |
